Freediving Retreat Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival & Calm Start
- Airport transfer → The Apnea Lab (depending on flight schedule).
- 13:00 Check-in and welcome.
- 14:00 Signatures and registration: health, insurance and guidelines.
- 15:00 Light lunch.
- 16:00 Initial theory: safety, basic physiology of apnea and plan of the week.
Objective of the day: to land, meet the team and understand the overall map of the retreat.
Day 2 — Fundamentals & Controlled Water (pool)
- 08:00 Meditation + Movement Flow to activate body and focus.
- 09:30 AIDA Classes: breathing, relaxation, equalization.
- 11:00 AIDA session in the pool: technique, signals, basic rescues and confidence.
- 15:00 Lunch.
- 15:30 AIDA Classes: mental preparation, warm-up routines and protocols.
Objective of the day: to master the base in a safe and controlled environment.
Day 3 — Breathing & First Open Water Swim (cenote/sea)
- 08:00 Meditation + Movement Flow.
- 09:00 Breathwork: patterns for calm and CO₂ control.
- 10:30 Open water diving: line, lanyard, technique and enjoyment.
- 16:00 Lunch.
- 17:00 Return and rest.
Objective of the day: to calmly transfer what has been learned from the pool to the real environment.
Day 4 — Integration & AIDA Exam
- 08:00 Breathwork + visualization: pre-dive ritual.
- 09:00 AIDA Exam (theory/practice, as appropriate).
- 11:00 Open water: technical review, economy of movement, conscious enjoyment.
- 16:00 Lunch.
Objective of the day: to certify fundamentals and strengthen technique with a focus on safety.
Day 5 — Cozumel Adventure: Sunken Ship & Content
- 07:30 Departure to Cozumel Island.
- 09:00 Shipwreck diving: exploration of the wreck with guide and safety.
- 10:00 Content session 🎥: professional underwater shots.
- 13:00 Lunch.
- 14:30 Return.
- 15:30 Course closing: lessons learned and next steps.
- 6:00 PM Thank You Dinner.
Goal of the day: to live the epic experience of the shipwreck and take home memories ready to share.
Day 6 — Farewell
- Check-out and transfer to the airport (depending on your flight).
Goal of the day: to end calmly and leave with a clear plan to continue practicing.
